Dr. Alicia Peterman, N.D.
Naturopathic Primary Care & Family Medicine

About Dr. Peterman

Originally from the Midwest, I grew up in suburban Detroit and graduated from Michigan State University with a business degree in 1992.  Due to my love of nature, after graduation, I moved to beautiful, Telluride, Colorado where I enjoyed the mountains throughout the year.  It was while in Colorado, after being in a life-changing car accident, that I discovered Naturopathic Medicine.

Although it was tragic at the time, I am grateful for my life and the opportunity to discover the wonder of alternative medicine.  It was through this discovery that I was able to heal in remarkable fashion.  This lead me to Portland and my pursuit of a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine.

I graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (aka National College of Natural Medicine now) in 2002.  After graduation, I was selected for a prestigious residency with Dr. Dickson Thom, DDS, ND who mentored me for the next 3 years.

Since then, I have moved my practice to North Portland where I call home.  I love doing just about anything outdoors especially if it involves my partner, Michael and our dog, Japhy.
